NTDA HOSTS HEALTH TALK IN CONJUNCTION WITH AIICO MULTISHIELD LIMITED ON THE LAGOS STATE HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME.
The Lagos State Government introduced the Health Insurance Scheme for all Members of Staff which would beneficial and his equally mandatory. The Authority in conjunction with AIICO Multisheild Limited organized a Health Talk which bothers on the Lagos State Insurance Scheme, its benefits and challenges.
The Senior Manager Business Development , Mr. Oladiran Okunlola highlighted the Benefits of the Scheme, whereby he stated that the Lagos State Government has subsidized the payment by 75% of the total cost, while the beneficiary, which includes family of 6 members will pay the balance of 25%. The total package is N40, 000 for family while N8,500 is for Individual beneficiary.
The Health Insurance Scheme covers full General Consultation and other ailments. The General Manager, New Towns Development Authority, Mr.Wasiu Akewusola, who declared the session opened, advised Members of Staff to embrace the Health Insurance Scheme which is of immense benefit to us all. He further stated that beneficial Members of Staff are at liberty to choose and visit any of the Hospitals within the Scheme covered by the scheme.
